Vault Haematoma Following Laparoscopic Hysterectomy

“…The LH was then completed below securing the uterosacral pedicles and closing the vault followed by a return above to exclude bleeding. The TLH continued above after removal of the swab from below by delineating the vault after insertion of a plastic vaginal tube that maintained the pneumoperitoneum (5). This facilitated dissection directly onto the tube and complete separation of the uterus and cervix from the vaginal vault.…”
