Letter: Diarrhoea and colitis associated with antibiotic therapy.

Abstract: there are still differences in the incidence of duodenal ulcer between non-secretors of different ABO blood groups. Nevertheless, it is surely worth bearing in mind the chemical nature of the mucus in gastric juice, which varies according to the blood group and secretor status, when considering the relationship between blood groups and the liability to develop peptic ulcer.
