Letter by Pengo et al Regarding Article, “Nighttime Blood Pressure Phenotype and Cardiovascular Prognosis: Practitioner-Based Nationwide JAMP Study”

Abstract: CORRESPONDENCEnighttime BP dipping status and cardiovascular outcomes. Thus, we strongly suggest that patients with nighttime hypertension or nocturnal riser patterns undergo sleep assessment to rule out OSA or other sleep-related disorders that can affect their overall cardiovascular risk before being started on additional antihypertensive pills.
