Abstract: Aggregation is one of the most remarkable behaviors in the animal kingdom – a process that is usually governed by pheromones. Triatomines are blood-sucking bugs that act as vectors of Trypanosoma cruzi, the etiological agent of Chagas disease in mammals, including humans.
