Lessons Learned From Talking With Parents About the Role of Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation in the Treatment of Children With Sickle Cell Disease

Abstract: Background: Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) is currently the only cure for sickle cell disease (SCD), but only a fraction of eligible children proceed to transplantation.
