Less Invasive Surfactant Administration: A Viewpoint

Abstract: The standard of care in treating respiratory distress syndrome in preterm infants is respiratory support with nasal continuous positive airway pressure (nCPAP) or a combination of CPAP and exogenous surfactant replacement.
