ResumenPresentamos el caso de un paciente de 27 años de edad que sufrió un mecanismo de lesión poco descrito en la literatura: lesiones orofaciales por línea de tendedero de ropa. La morbi-mortalidad de este tipo de lesiones es elevada, ya que en algunos casos afectan estructuras vitales. Son además un reto para la reconstrucción y deben ser evaluadas de forma multidisciplinaria ya que la atención urgente que se preste a las lesiones más evidentes puede enmascarar el diagnóstico oportuno y el tratamiento de otras igualmente lesiones igualmente graves. Nivel de evidencia científica 5 AbstractWe present the clinical case of a 27 year old patient with a lesion mechanism seldom depicted in the literature: orofacial wounds caused by a clothes line. The morbidity rate is high, as in some cases the wounds affect vital structures.These types of wounds represent a challenge for reconstruction and should be evaluated in a multidisciplinary way, since the urgent attention given to the most evident injuries, could conceal an appropriate diagnosis and the handling of others that are equally severe.
