Abstract:A lesão medular é uma condição debilitante que resulta em perda parcial ou total de função sensorial e motora abaixo do nível da lesão. É uma condição relativamente comum, com uma taxa de incidência global de 10,4 a 83 casos por milhão de pessoas.
