“…Such synergy between musical materials and natural models, found both in electroacoustic and instrumental music, has been discussed extensively by French composer François-Bernard Mâche, who argues that the music should imitate or refer to archetypal and natural behaviours and models that resound with human memory and sensitivity, in order to reach the listener in a strong and meaningful way.
