Abstract: Résumé : La loi de 1 906 prévoyait la possibilité de classer à des fins de protection les « Monuments naturels et sites » dont l'intérêt pittoresque avait été reconnu. Cette loi resta en vigueur jusqu'en 1930, et pendant cette période quarante et un sites et monuments naturels furent classés dans les trois départements des Alpes du Nord.
