Les Ptéridophytes de Guadeloupe: biodiversité, écologie, protection

Abstract

Résumé.-Les auteurs présentent une synthèse des connaissances actuelles sur le statut (biologie, écologie, fréquence) des Ptéridophytes de la Guadeloupe et de ses dépendances, comptant au total plus de 300 taxons.Près des trois quarts d'entre eux se trouvent dans la forêt tropicale humide actuellement très menacée.Les taxons présumés disparus, non revus, ou nouveaux pour ces lies sont indiqués. Des mesures de protection des espèces les plus rares et les plus menacées, ainsi que de leur biotope, sont proposées.Summary.-The authors present a synthesis of the current knowledges (biology, ecology, Ire· quency) of the Pteridophytes of Guadeloupe and ~s dependencies, which count more !han 300 taxa.About three quarters of them grow in the tropical rain forest, which is now very threatened. The presumed extinct, unlound ag ain or new taxa for these islands are indicated. Actions tc protee! the more rare and more thretened species, as their biotope, are proposed.

Records from previously published floristic studies (Fée, 1866; Husnot, 1870; Duss, 1903; Questel, 1951; Proctor, 1977; Vivant, 1987a, b, 1988, 1989a, b, 1990, 1996; Fournet & Hoff, 1999; Lazare et al. , 1991) have been evaluated and included when appropriate.…”
