“…Out of the fractures involving upper limbs distal radius fractures are most common and are usually caused by road traffic accidents or fall from height. 1 Irrespective of cause of these fractures the mechanism of injury remains fairly uniform in majority of the cases and consist of a fall on outstretched hand thereby causing fracture and rotational displacement.
