Lemierre’s Syndrome Associated with Mechanical Ventilation and Profound Deafness

Abstract: Lemierre's syndrome is a rare disorder that is characterized by anaerobic organisms inducing a thrombophlebitis of the internal jugular vein (IJV) following a course of oropharyngeal infection.
