This article applies an intersectional lens to analyze the lived experience of 11 women migrant entrepreneurs based in the UK. We adopt structuration as our ontology to analyze intersectionality in entrepreneurship at the interplay of macro-level structures and micro-level agency, addressing tensions between determinism and subjectivism. Findings show that women migrant entrepreneurs are trailing wives who experience constrained agency which influences their entrepreneurial activities. By highlighting the specific issues faced by entrepreneurs situated at the intersection of the oppressive structures of patriarchy and outsidership, we advance the intersectional agenda in entrepreneurship research and policymaking.

À partir de la monographie de l’action militante d’un collectif féministe, cet article entend croiser géographie du genre et géographie des mouvements sociaux pour montrer comment les rapports de genre s’articulent avec les logiques du changement urbain. Le texte interroge la mobilisation d’un collectif de femmes en faveur de la mixité dans l’espace public et en particulier dans les cafés. Appuyée sur une enquête par observation participante et entretiens, cette recherche documente la dimension spatiale de cette mobilisation, mettant en évidence le rôle de l’espace dans les répertoires de l’action collective. Elle interroge les échelles du militantisme, soulignant sa dimension multiscalaire, entre ancrage local et projection globale. L’article analyse enfin l’articulation de cette action collective avec les dynamiques de gentrification qui caractérisent la commune d’Aubervilliers, à travers la compréhension de la manière dont les trajectoires des membres du Collectif dessinent les normes d’une citadinité renouvelée qui entrent parfois en tension avec certains usages populaires des espaces publics de la ville.
