Abstract: Backgroud: Diverticular disease affects approximately 50% of the population aged ≥ 60 and above. Twenty-five % will require surgical intervention. We aimed to compare the outcomes of left colonic resectionfor sigmoid diverticular disease by robotic and laparoscopic approaches.
