Abstract: Zusammenfassung Hintergrund Bei Personen mit Geschlechtsinkongruenz wird eine Verminderung der Lebensqualität durch zahlreiche Studien belegt. Die hohe psychische Belastung führt zu depressiven Erkrankungen, Angststörungen und gegenüber der Normbevölkerung erhöhter Suizidalität. Auch soziale Limitationen führen zu verminderter Lebensqualität.
