Leben als Zeichen

Abstract: Zusammenfassung Prophetische Zeichenhandlungen werden in ihrer Eigenart verständlich, wenn man sie in Analogie zu modernen Performances betrachtet. In beiden Fällen handelt es sich um Kommunikationsformen, die ihrem Anliegen durch den Einsatz des Körpers als Medium Nachdruck und Prägnanz verleihen, beide gelangen über das Spiel (im Sinne Huizingas) zu neuen Deutungen von Wirklichkeit. Exemplarisch zeigt dies eine Gegenüberstellung von Hos 3 und der Performance 6WF von Abramovic/Ulay.
