Learning and Performance in an Air Refueling Part-Task Trainer: Preliminary Data Analysis

Abstract: T h i s paper recounts ongoing attempts t o develop a system of performance measures (PM's) f o r the Air Refueling Part-Task Trainers which will be used by the Military A i r l i f t Command (MAC) f o r currency training of C-5/C-141 aircrews. The database a t present includes over 30,000 observations on a total of 22 student p i l o t s and 3 instructor pilots.
