Abstract:Trans‐fatty acid is a well‐known risk factor of atherogenesis, however its mechanism has not been clarified. Plasmalogen is a subclass of phospholipids, characterized by vinyl‐ether bond in sn‐1 position, and known to have the anti‐atherogenenic property.
