Lawmaker Age, Issue Salience, and Senior Representation in Congress

Abstract: Political scientists have demonstrated the importance of lawmakers’ identities, showing that race, gender, socioeconomic status, and sexual orientation affect legislative and representational behavior. Is the same true for age?
