Latency Optimization for Resource Allocation in Cloud Computing System

Abstract: Abstract. Recent studies in different fields of science caused emergence of needs for high performance computing systems like Cloud. A critical issue in design and implementation of such systems is resource allocation which is directly affected by internal and external factors like the number of nodes, geographical distance and communication latencies. Many optimizations took place in resource allocation methods in order to achieve better performance by concentrating on computing, network and energy resources.… Show more

“…It is clear that the sub-processes of Editor-in-chief is more than other actors, because of its key role in the journal publishing process. Online business ranging from small retail to huge cloud service providing as well as other types of services became the most popular type of business in recent years [13][14][15][16][17]. Gaining from different techniques in IT opened new doors for fast development of traditional business tasks [18,19].…”

“…In this way, each applicant is bound to a virtual machine and supposes that it is a complete resource. Resource provider is the entity that manages these virtual machines (Nosrati et al , 2015).…”

“…In our previous research, we proposed an optimization on a common resource allocation method based on the latencies of communications to improve the performance of the system by minimizing the communication latencies (Nosrati et al, 2015). Because of it, we added a table to resource agent (entity that allocates resources to the applicants) to hold the history of previous allocations.…”
