After the Sinian, a major transgression occurred (possibly due to rising sea levels), and the Cambrian succession in the eastern Tarim Basin exhibits an open platform facies and is mainly composed of marine carbonate rocks, sandstones, and mudstones (Luo, 1998;Shi et al, 2018;Zhang et al, 2019). There was no significant igneous activity during the Sinian-Cambrian, and in the southwest, the Cambrian strata are eroded.…”
