Additionally, the oddball paradigm has been used in conjunction with pharmacology (Ehrlichman et al, 2008(Ehrlichman et al, , 2009Bristow et al, 2016;Aleksandrov et al, 2018;Harms et al, 2018;Lee et al, 2018), optogenetics (Natan et al, 2015(Natan et al, , 2017, and chemogenetics (Hamm and Yuste, 2016) to isolate mechanisms responsible for the components of MMN.
