Abstract: Background and Objective Tapered fluted titanium stems (TFTS), were introduced to overcome proximal femur bone defects. They obtain stable fixation even in catastrophic proximal bone loss. Modular ones have the advantage to adjust length, rotation, off-set independently from the distal module.
