For the laser tracking and positioning system of a moving target using a four-quadrant detector, the accuracy of laser spot position detection has a serious impact on the tracking performance of the system. For moving target tracking, the traditional spot position detection method of a four-quadrant detector cannot give better consideration to both detection accuracy and operation speed. In view of this, an improved method based on piecewise low-order polynomial least squares fitting and a Kalman filter is proposed. Firstly, the tracking and positioning mathematical model of the system is created, and the experimental device is established. Then, the shortcomings of traditional methods are analyzed, and the improved method and the real-time tracking and positioning algorithm of the system are studied. Finally, through the experiment, the system operation effects are compared and analyzed before and after the improvement. The experimental results of system dynamic tracking show that, the least squares fitting of the experimental data using a 5-segment and quadratic polynomial can achieve better results. By using the improved method, the maximum tracking distance of a moving object is increased from 12 m to more than 30 m. At a distance of 7.5 m, the maximum tracking speed can reach 2.11 m/s, and the root mean square error (RMSE) of the position is less than 4.59 mm. At 15.5 m, the maximum tracking speed is 2.04 m/s and the RMSE is less than 5.42 mm. Additionally, at 23.5 m, it is 1.13 m/s and 5.71 mm.

This paper summarizes the existing technologies in the field of photoelectric countermeasure, discusses the challenges faced by laser angle deception jamming technology, and comprehensively expounds the development direction of photoelectric countermeasure in the field of laser angle deception jamming. In the field of laser jamming technology, the different ways of laser jamming technology and the development of laser jamming weapons are studied.Through the analysis of the principle of laser semi-active guidance and laser angle deception jamming technology, it is found that the traditional laser guidance technology can be intercepted, copied and finally released by our side for decoying because of the simplicity of its laser coding, but facing the new laser guidance technology and the improved laser coding technology, our laser decoying system will face the risk of failure. Therefore, the future laser angle deception jamming must solve the problem of how to avoid the influence of laser coding technology on laser decoy jamming.

Integrated Optoelectronic Position Sensor for Scanning Micromirrors

Scanning micromirrors have been used in a wide range of areas, but many of them do not have position sensing built in, which significantly limits their application space. This paper reports an integrated optoelectronic position sensor (iOE-PS) that can measure the linear displacement and tilting angle of electrothermal MEMS (Micro-electromechanical Systems) scanning mirrors. The iOE-PS integrates a laser diode and its driving circuits, a quadrant photo-detector (QPD) and its readout circuits, and a band-gap reference all on a single chip, and it has been fabricated in a standard 0.5 μm CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) process. The footprint of the iOE-PS chip is 5 mm × 5 mm. Each quadrant of the QPD has a photosensitive area of 500 µm × 500 µm and the spacing between adjacent quadrants is 500 μm. The iOE-PS chip is simply packaged underneath of an electrothermally-actuated MEMS mirror. Experimental results show that the iOE-PS has a linear response when the MEMS mirror plate moves vertically between 2.0 mm and 3.0 mm over the iOE-PS chip or scans from −5 to +5°. Such MEMS scanning mirrors integrated with the iOE-PS can greatly reduce the complexity and cost of the MEMS mirrors-enabled modules and systems.
