Laser-Induced Tunable White Light Emission in Yb3+/Er3+/Tm3+ Ion-Doped La2Ti2O7

Abstract: A series of compounds with the general formula (La1−xREx)2Ti2O7 (x = 0.005, 0.015, and 0.025) doped with Yb3+, Er3+, and Tm3+ rare earth ions were prepared by the traditional solid-state reaction at 1350°C for 24 h. The X-ray powder diffraction technique, high-resolution transmission electron microscopy, and photoluminescence spectroscopy technique were used to characterize the structure and optical properties of the compounds. All compounds showed a single-phase orthorhombic structure with a space group Pna21… Show more

“…Luminescence lifetime is the inherent property of fluorophore which is determined by the internal structure of fluorophore independent of the influence of fluorophore concentration, sample absorbance, sample thickness, measurement method, luminescence intensity, photobleaching and excitation intensity. [22][23][24][25] Thus, it has been used in various fields, such as luminescent materials, [26][27][28][29][30][31][32][33] pollutant monitoring, 33,34 cell tracking [35][36][37][38][39][40][41] and detection of drug residues. [42][43][44][45] In summary, the changes of luminous intensity and luminescence lifetime of novel (Gd, Y, Lu) 2 O 2 S phosphors co-doped Tb 3+ , Yb 3+ and Er 3+ were analyzed and the energy transfer model of Tb 3+ -Yb 3+ -Er 3+ was established.…”
