Large Wind Turbine Blade Layer Design and Dynamics Characteristics Analysis

Abstract: A 2.5MW wind turbine blade is modeled. The maximum static stress obtaining by the finite element method is compared with the theoretical analysis’s. The results acquired by both of them are same with each other, which validate the rationality of the finite element computational modeling. We find out the weakness regions of the blade by modal analysis on blade.
