Large Extramedullary Plasmacytoma in Oral Cavity in a patient with Lympho plasmacytic Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma

Abstract: Plasmacyte neoplasms are characterized by monoclonal proliferation of plasma cells with production of immunoglobulin [1]. They may present as a single lesion (solitary plasmacytoma) or multiple lesions (multiple myeloma). Single lesions usually occur in bone (bone plasmacytoma) but may also occur in soft tissues (extramedullary plasmacytoma) [2]. Its etiology is unknown, being infrequent in the jaws [3, 4].
