Abstract:BACKGROUND:There has been a rapid worldwide adoption of laparoscopic procedures across many surgical specialties, most notably in Gynaecology. Unfortunately, the increased adoption of laparoscopic surgery has also been accompanied by a corresponding rise in the rates and types of complications reported.
