Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy in Acute Cholecystitis: An Updated Review

Abstract: Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is the gold standard for the management of gallstone disease, but it has recently been incorporated into the treatment of acute cholecystitis. It is divided into early and delayed laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
