Abstract:Summary
When large‐scale content‐based publish/subscribe systems face dynamic workloads, it is challenging to stabilize event delivery latency. In this article, we propose a latency‐aware parallelism framework (Lap) to address this challenge. Specifically, we propose a lightweight parallelism method called PhSIH for event matching algorithms. In addition, we design a reactive parallelism degree adjustment (RPDA) mechanism in the backpressure way to determine the parallelism degree. We implement Lap in Apache K… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
