Landmark-Based Inertial Navigation System for Autonomous Navigation of Missile Platform

Abstract: As a new information provider of autonomous navigation, the on-orbit landmark observation offers a new means to improve the accuracy of autonomous positioning and attitude determination. A novel autonomous navigation method based on the landmark observation and the inertial system is designed to achieve the high-accuracy estimation of the missile platform state. In the proposed method, the navigation scheme is constructed first. The implicit observation equation about the deviation of the inertial system outpu… Show more

“…System Database. Data organization and management is the basic core of system construction, the data basis for the realization of various functions of the system, and the key factor for the success of system construction [18], which directly affects the practicability and efficiency of the system. In this tourism navigation system, the design of system database includes the design of spatial database, attribute database, and multimedia database.…”

“…MINS is widely used in automobiles, aircraft, missiles, and robots because of its high autonomy and reliability. 11 , 12 Using MINS, a surgeon can determine real-time axial and sagittal tilt angles of implanted screws from the data provided by the inertial measurement unit (IMU). The IMU used for MINS includes a three-axis gyroscope, accelerometer, and magnetometer, usually mounted on the body directly.…”
