Land suitability studies for major crops in Pavagada taluk, Karnataka using remote sensing and GIS techniques

Abstract: Pavagada taluk of Tumkur district in Karnataka is one of the most backward taluks receiving less than 500 mm annual rainfall. The maximum area of the taluk is under monocropping, reasons for the same were not documented well.
