Abstract: A laminated permanent magnet array eddy current damper (LPMAECD) is proposed to achieve excellent performance for large-scale precision micro-vibration isolation. It improves the damping coefficient by perpendicular magnetized permanent magnet arrays (PMPMA) and laminar arrangement.
