Abstract:Self-emulsifying drug delivery systems (SEDDSs) can effectively be employed to formulate drugs with poor oral bioavailability due to low aqueous solubility and high first-pass metabolism. High surfactant content is an existing challenge toward the successful application of SEDDS.
