Abstract: Aim Leflunomide is a disease-modifying antirheumatic drug used in therapy for rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Previous studies indicated that oestrogens and androgens may affect the response to leflunomide in RA patients. The synthesis of androgens is regulated by cytochrome CYB5A.
