Laboratory Studies on Accidental Pollution and Soil Remediation Techniques

Abstract: In this paper there are presented laboratory studies on the influence of additives in diesel fuels on accidental pollution of the soil. The additive used in the experiments was cyclohexanone ketal glycerol. The presence of hydroxyl groups in the structure of ketals of glycerol decreases the solubility of hydrocarbons.
