Laboratory observation of plasmoid-dominated magnetic reconnection in hybrid collisional-collisionless regime

Abstract: Magnetic reconnection, breaking and reorganization of magnetic field topology, is a fundamental process for rapid release of magnetic energy into plasma particles that occurs pervasively throughout the universe.
