Abstract:The article presents data from a study of specific cardiac markers in patients with acute respiratory viral infection (ARVI) or coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). COVID-19 caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome-related coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is characterized by cardiovascular injury.
