Label-Free Autofluorescence-Detected Mid-Infrared Photothermal Microscopy of Pharmaceutical Materials

Abstract: Label-free autofluorescence-detected photothermal mid-IR (AF-PTIR) microscopy is demonstrated experimentally and applied to test the distribution of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) in a mixture containing representative pharmaceutical excipients.
