Crystalline LaBeB3O7 (10) (Pna21) was grown from a high-temperature solution by using Li2O-B2O3 as the flux [48]; the structure has some boron sites substituted by beryllium atoms, resulting in corner- Polycrystalline β-Rb2Al2B2O7 (13) was synthesized by a solid-state reaction and a single crystal grown from a high-temperature solution using a H3BO3-RbF-PbO flux. It crystallizes in the trigonal space group P321 [52], the structure consisting of [BO3] groups connected to [AlO4] tetrahedra, and with the charge balance maintained by Rb + cations ( Figure 6).…”
