Lab‐Scale Investigation of Slickwater Impact on Methane Desorption on Longmaxi Gas Shale

Abstract: After multistage hydraulic fracking, a huge amount of slickwater stuck in shale gas formation significantly affects the shale‐gas‐well production performance. A set of comparative experiments to illustrate slickwater and its chemicals' impact on the methane desorption on shale powders were performed.
