Abstract: Ovocyte vitrification was finally authorized by the new law voted in July 2011 upon the revision of the French bioethics law. Expected for 30 years, cryopreservation of female gametes had a major impact on Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) practice worldwide and in our country.
