La remise en question du pouvoir psychiatrique à Genève (1960–1980)

Abstract

6 Gesnerus 75 (2018) thereby referring to the so-called «anti-psychiatry» of the 1960s. Following a presentation of the Bel-Air Clinic in regards to its context and reforms, the paper features an analysis of the criticisms and demands purported by alternative groups in matter of psychiatry. As such, the paper ranges from the denunciation of psychiatric repression in Canton Geneva, to the subsequent critical eruption of the reorganisation of the psychiatric structures, up to the legislative amendments of the 1980s.
