Abstract: Le Centre franco-égyptien d'étude des temples de Karnak célébrera en 2002 ses trentecinq ans d'existence. Il constitue une structure de recherche et de coopération privilégiée, dans un pays où la France joue un rôle culturel et scientifique particulier, lié aussi bien à l'histoire qu'aux spécificités des études orientales.
