La logistique Urbaine : Identification des Concepts Clés (Revue de Littérature)

Abstract

In an ever-growing economy, characterized by mass consumption, the management of the flows of the distribution of goods and services presents issues relating to the mobility of these flows within the city. This, however, disturbs the urban approach and the dimensioning of space. If logistics as a discipline intervenes in the management and the optimization of the movement of goods, services and people, then a new approach is required which is the urban logistics. This will respond to the harvest pressures exerted by sustainable development. This paper focuses on addressing the following question: How can urban logistics respond to the challenges of urban goods distribution and defend the challenges of sustainable development? In answering this question, we adopted the following research methodology: Definitions of basic concepts; Stakeholder identification and urban logistics targets; Recognize distribution challenges in the last Kilometer, and how can urban logistics be considered as a solution for the challenges of sustainable development
