Innovation, entrepreneurship, strategies, initiatives and innovative behavior, innovative entrepreneur, are themes or expressions that have been integrated into the specialized language of economics and business management science. This study analyzes the main relationships between innovation, entrepreneurship and scientific research, as well as some factors that influence the degree of innovation that a given good, process or product may have in the business context, for which a documentary methodology is used applied with a qualitative approach. The results show that innovation and the use of the term require defining scientific frontiers; There is a historical evolution of entrepreneurship and innovation associated with the economic model that is promoted in each country; likewise, a diversity of methodologies for measuring them from business management. It is concluded that there is an exacerbated optimism in innovation and entrepreneurship as solutions to various business problems, unemployment or the need to bring products and services of national invoicing to the market to satisfy demand and reduce dependence on the foreign market, considering the necessary budgets for it. , such as scientific research, articulated between public and private institutions, government and companies, that make innovation a source for development.
