La-Doped CeO2 Quantum Dots: Novel Dye Degrader, Antibacterial Activity, and In Silico Molecular Docking Analysis

Abstract: The current work demonstrates a novel synthesis of different concentrations of La-doped (2, 4, and 6 wt %) CeO 2 quantum dots (QDs) using a hydrothermal approach. This research aimed to examine the dye degradation efficiency, antibacterial activity, and in silico molecular docking analysis of La-doped CeO 2 QDs. The structure, elemental composition, optical properties, d-spacing, and morphological features of QDs were examined using various methods. XRD spectra exhibited the cubic structure of CeO 2 , and the … Show more

“…Note that the holes in the VB of CIS NSs are quenched by Na 2 SO 3 , making electron the sole active species. In this way, electron–hole pairs photoexcited over CIS NSs are efficaciously separated, with an electron lifetime markedly prolonged. ,,,,, …”

“…40 The SYBYL-X 2.0 program was used for the docking investigation. As in our previous work, 41,42 we used SYBYL-X 2.0 to model compounds in three dimensions and evaluated nanoparticle binding affinities with the residues found in the active sites of certain proteins.…”
