Kurzfassung: Der vorliegende Beitrag verfolgt das Ziel, die sich rasch entwickelnden Forschung zu Foodscapes aus neopragmatischer Weise zu redeskribieren. Redeskriptionen werden, im Sinne von Richard Rorty, dann nötig, wenn altehrwürdige Vokabulare brüchig geworden sind. Die Redeskription erfolgt mittels eines doppelten Ansatzes, einerseits unter direkter Bezugnahme des philosophischen Neopragmatismus, wie er von Richard Rorty vertreten wird, andererseits aus der Drei Welten Theorie Karl Poppers abgeleiteten Theorie der drei Landschaften, um der Redeskription eine Struktur zu geben, anhand derer sich Theorien mittlerer Reichweite in den meta-theoretischen Rahmen des neopragmatischen Ansatzes ‚horizontaler Geographien' einordnen lassen. In Ableitung Poppers Theorie wird Landschaft 3 als jener Teil der Welt 3 verstanden, der sich mit Deutungen, Kategorisierungen und Wertung von Welt als Landschaft bezieht. Landschaft 2 sind entsprechend die individuellen Bewusstseinsinhalte zu Landschaft. Landschaft 1 wird als jener Teil der materiellen Welt 1 verstanden, die aus Perspektive von Landschaft 2 und 3 zu Landschaft synthetisiert werden. Als Foodscapes 1, 2 und 3 werden jene Teile der jeweiligen Landschaft verstanden, die mit der Erzeugung, Verteilung und dem Konsum von Nahrungsmitteln verbunden sind. Insofern erscheint es kaum als möglich, Foodscapes in ihrer Komplexität auf Grundlage einer einzigen theoretischen Perspektive, ihren Komplexitäten angemessen, zu untersuchen. Der Neopragmatismus bietet einen metatheoretischen Zugriff zum Umgang mit dieser Herausforderung. Er liefert Hinweise zur Triangulation von Theorien, Methoden, Modi der Konstruktion von -schaften, Forschern, Daten und nicht zuletzt Darstellungsformen. Der hier unterbreitete Vorschlag einer neopragmatischen Redeskription von Foodscapes geht von epistemologischen Fragen kontingenter Weltdeutungen aus, woraus sich eine ontologische Befassung mit unterschiedlichen Ebenen von Foodscapes ableitet, die methodologisch operationalisiert wird.

Au printemps 2013, des centaines de milliers de personnes manifestent dans plusieurs villes brésiliennes pour dénoncer la hausse des tarifs du transport public dans un contexte d'augmentation des dépenses publiques consacrées à l'organisation de la coupe du monde de football. En octobre 2018, en France, le mouvement dit « des gilets jaunes » émerge en réaction à la hausse du prix des carburants liée à l'application d'une taxe sur le carbone et à la diminution du seuil de vitesse autorisée sur les réseaux routiers interurbains. Mi-octobre 2019, au Chili, un mouvement social d'une ampleur sans précédent depuis la fin de la dictature se déploie à la suite d'une augmentation de plus de trois pourcents des tickets de métro dans la capitale. Dans les trois cas, l'augmentation du coût des déplacements constitue l'élément déclencheur de la colère sociale. Les protestations dénoncent, entre autres choses, des mesures qui portent atteinte à la liberté de circuler et aggravent les difficultés quotidiennes dans l'accès aux ressources essentielles.Dans un monde globalisé où les circulations de personnes, de marchandises, de capitaux, d'informations constituent l'un des socles des économies capitalistes, une pluralité d'associations, de collectifs, d'organisations, de personnes réclame le respect ou l'extension des droits à la mobilité. Alors que la mobilité est devenue une condition indispensable de participation à la vie sociale, les inégalités face à la mobilité restent en effet très marquées, mettant à mal l'idée d'un droit de circulation universel pourtant affirmé dans les déclarations et constitutions nationales et internationales. Ces inégalités s'expriment à différentes échelles spatiales, sous des formes diverses d'atteinte à la liberté de circulation, de déplacements forcés, de pratiques de mobilité
