Se hace especial énfasis en cómo han cambiado la noción de extensión universitaria con la diversificación del sistema educativo y las políticas de educa-ción superior internacionales y nacionales. Finalmente se delinean algunos modelos de trabajo vigentes de las estructuras de difusión cultural universitarias. This article sums up the history and current state of the aims and organizational structure and aims of the higher education cultural management. The transformations in the notion of outreach and higher education cultural management are especially regarded, in relation to the diversification of the higher education system and the national and international cultural policies. At last, some models of cultural management found today at this educational level are described.
